In Tempo Entertainment started in Seattle Washington among colleagues at the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Seattle Symphony, and Fifth Avenue Theater. While being principally trained in classical music, we wanted to participate in a greater variety of music that resonated with more diverse audiences. Founder Mitchell Drury started writing (and continues to be the principal arranger of) detailed arrangements of Pop, Jazz, Movie themes. His arrangements have been published in Strings Magazine, and many are available for purchase through licensing agreements with Hal Leonard and Alfred. Visit our publisher at Open Fifth . Over time, some of our members moved away from Seattle to take jobs with Symphonies in San Diego, Honolulu, Portland, and New York, In their new communities, they still wanted to perform the great repertoire we had established, and clients would frequently request new songs and pieces. Happy to extend the availability of our repertoire and professionalism, we created In Tempo Entertainment, an organization that gives us the flexibility to meet the unique needs of our clients in Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, California, and New York.
